I had not heard of this film until 2 weeks ago and thought the premise was interesting so I bought the DVD on Amazon Marketplace. I am so glad I did. Because of the subtitles I had to watch the film twice to get all of the little particulars but I am really impressed with the visuals, storyline, and acting. I would recommend this film to anyone who doesn't mind the subtitles. The most interesting aspect of the film is that the "Light" characters are not saints and the "Dark" characters are not consummate evil. Makes a lot of sense. I can't wait to see the rest of the trilogy and read the books. |
