I watched this film with only morbid curiousity as my sole motivation. After a while, I started to get sucked in. It was so bad it was good. I hated myself for not turning it off. The acting is bad, the story line and writing was strictly bottom of the barrel, yet here I am watching rich white kids whackin' people and slinging dope. Don't be fooled, Hilton has a minor role. The story tries to be morethan what it is or could hope to be. But the message is sent, why do people who have a way out get sucked back in as our main character does. With a future in pro baseball loomiing, he still finds himself with his old crowd. Only to have a rather unkind ending. A little Boyz in the Hood thing going but not done near as well of course. If you have to watch this movie, watch it alone as I did. It is embaressing for both you and the actors if you're caught watching. But revel in this cinematic cesspool |
