Previewed Ice Harvest last night at the local theatre I used to work at. This movie is very good, but only if you enjoy quirky, dark comedies. The language is crude, the humor is subtle.
I am a Cusack fan, but Oliver Platt steals the show in this moview. Also, those who are dying to see Billy Bob in this one may be dissappointed, as his screen time is unfortunately limited. However, the scenes he is in are absolutely vintage Billy Bob. I believe he's the best cusser in Hollywood!
Overall, this is a fun movie, but I wouldn't take the family to see it. It earns its R-rating. |
