The other two people watching this walked out halfway through. I should have followed if it weren't for the fact that I still had half a bucket of popcorn to eat, so I sat through the rest of the misery. To be honest, I had high hopes and the acting is good. The story itself doesn't work and the movie doesn't know if it wants to be a comedy or a drama. I myself looked at it as a comedy and laughed every chance I could because otherwise I would be crying that I just spent $7.25 and wasted 90 minutes of my life. It does have some dark humor which I liked but only a few moments in the hour and a half make the pain worthwhile. I say go ahead and rent it for a dollar at McDonald's when it comes out and maybe you will enjoy it. Don't watch it in front of children though, too many strips clubs i.e. T&A shown, blood, and vulgar language for the kiddies to enjoy. |
