I can't believe some people can actually despise this movie...
The story was adorable. It showed that differences and all in a compromise can bring love together. Plus, it's realistic. Everyone in a relationship or have been in one has to have experienced this type of situation at least once. I enjoyed every minute and second of it. It appeals not to just females, but males as well. It's clearly a perfect date movie.
The acting was great. Who can actually hate Jimmy Fallon in this movie? No one I hope, well except for Yankee fans. I still don't see why people can leave all these bad comments about him. He shouldn't even be compared to Adam Sandler just because he co-starred in a few movies with Drew Barrymore. Fallon was perfect for this role. He made me laugh and smile throughout the whole movie. Let's just say.. I basically fell in love with him!
No one should compare this movie with any of the Farelly Brothers' works. First of all, they only DIRECTED it, whereas they directed and wrote the classic comedies, "There's Something About Mary" and "Dumb and Dumber."
I hope people see this movie the same way I did. I'm sure all the people who left bad comments were just bitter Yankee fans. |
