I want to start out by saying that it was overall a good movie. Great acting and great visual but left alot of story or at least some of the best of Johnny Cash out of it. It could have shown more about how he brought other legend's into the spotlight, at least a glimpse. It gave too much time showing his drug addiction and not enough of the good times and what he did for ppl and other artist's. It could have gone more into his battle with good and evil, involving his personal demon's, again less about the drug addiction. I expected more Folsom Prison time, at least giving more than one song, especially since its a big part of his legacy. I shouldn't be so hard, its just that for this "DIE HARD" Johnny Cash fan it left something to be desired, I am hoping for a part two. |
