I saw "Art School Confidential" yesterday after previously seeing the coming attractions in the theater. It is absolutely hilarious. In fact, this is the first review I've ever bothered to write on Yahoo! Movies.
I wholeheartedly encourage you to see it if you like offbeat story lines, quirky characters and vulgar humor. John Malkovich is great, too. In terms of my own laughter throughout the movie, I believe it has only been matched by 2 or 3 other films in the past.
With that said, DO NOT see this film if you are easily offended (see "vulgar humor" mentioned above.) There were a couple things that even I was surprised to see/hear onscreen, which is unusual (i.e., its R-rating *could* be considered a stretch).
Conclusion: This is an enjoyable movie. GO SEE IT! But, I swear, I will be incredibly pissed if I see anyone on here complaining that it was too crude for them and that they walked out early. Read and heed, my friends. |
