Man, talk about creepy. The main character (Mick) is a likeable guy at first but then come to find out, a sick and misguided psychopath with a penchant for knives/guns/torture. The first half of the movie was a bit slow but builds the characters. You come to learn and see how the characters are and just when you begin to like them, that's when the bad stuff begins. (As I write this critique, my wife badgers me and my ability to write. So this is censored for the official record.) All said and done, the acting is very believeable and the horror real. Yes, others may have trashed and ripped on this movie but then again, do you want to listen to those recommendations - when horror to them is about blood and killers named Jason and Freddy? |
