As a 62 year-old man who doesn't always like "nature" movies, I was somewhat reluctant to go see "March of the Penguins." A friend insisted and I caved in. Thank goodness I did! The cinematography, music and narration are all superb. However, that's only part of the story. Witnessing the challenges, struggles, triumphs and failures of the Emperor Penguins ended up being an intensely spiritual experience for me. It has actually helped me to put my own life in better perspective, and it might just do the same for you. Be prepared to be dazzled at every level, and to walk out wondering if maybe God possibly has revealed Himself just a little in this remarkable film. |
