My favorite thing about this movie is that it treated these injured players like humans. Good and bad. It didn't try to make them into some Rocky type characters that win above all odds, etc...
These guys were vindictive, mean, sometimes hateful, and courageous and inspiring all in one human body. We are all those mix of things (some more than others) and I was thrilled that the movied showed that rather than portraying these guys as saints. I loved this movie and highly recommend it to everyone. |
