What a great film! Without being maudlin, the film shows how people with disabilities none should have to experience, make the most of their lives, and compete for their individual pride and pride in their country. after world War 2, there was a movie The Men that dealt with some of these issues in a fictionalized scenario. This was more of a documentary, and showed resilience of the human spirit. Great for the family! |
