Probably the best movie I've seen all year. I was worried. I was worried that after all of the hype and advertising that the movie would be .. eh, mediocre. But the media hype, the cereal boxes, band aids, etc are promoting a /great/ movie. Cars is family friendly, funny, colorful, and charismatic. You fall in love with the characters and become mesmorized by the sheer imagination of the Pixar animators and writers. The scenery is gorgeous. The animation, superb (but what would expect from Pixar?). The musical score fits the movie perfectly. You don't have to be a kid to enjoy this movie. I got the chance to screen it with a coworker, and we both loved it. Cars = A+! |
