What a pretentious waste of time! We never got past the "travelogue" portion of the film -- I think we made it as far as Istanbul before my wife and I decided to abandon ship and put the DVD back in its envelope. Characters standing woodenly in front of cruise-ship scenery having highbrow conversations... and the dialog was about as realistic as a language-instruction tape. Rated I for Intelligentsia-Only. |
