According to this film, teenagers have only a few things on their minds. Be popular, have sex, and do drugs. Please, give us a break. As if the academic stresses and hormonal imbalances we have to deal with each day aren't enough. Thanks to this movie, we will also be subjected to hours of painful abstinence speeches from our terrified mothers.
There are a few highly inaccurate aspects of the movie I would like to point out. First off,we often discourage one another from promiscuous behavior, and we definitely do not trade advice on certain unspeakable subjects. We take STDs very seriously, and upper-classmen do not roam the hallways as Don Juans in training. Most importantly the words "grrrl" (yes, spelled correctly) and "bummin" are not a part of our vocabulary.
In the end, the only thing this movie is effective at doing, is force countless numbers of innocent little freshman to endure hours of this movie in Health class. Good job Lifetime. |
