As a teenager, even I thought this movie was too simple and predictable. If anyone has seen Juwanna Man (2002), this movie is the same in many aspects except for it upped the ante on simplicity.
The plot (in short) : A glamour-loving, flashy coach of a big-name college must "return to his roots" and coach at his elemantary school after he is banned from coaching in the college league. After a dull emotional experience that a 5-year old would understand, the coach realizes his "roots" are where he belongs.
Some funny parts, but I found myself embarassed when 1st graders were laughing at the same jokes I was laughing at, even if they were doing it twice as hard. |
