Victims of a pedophile, can such a story possibly resonate with movie goers looking for escape this summer & resenting the ads and prices & concession prices theatres impose on this summers movie goers?
Well given that 1 in 4 children are apparently victims of such crimes, and that the victims are rarely portrayed, just talked about, maybe parents and young people should see a movie they will not forget when they leave the theatre.
The two young actors are simply so good, the cast so exceedingly good, the story line so unusual and common;the film in the end, is pluperfect. This film, this summer, won next February's Oscar as the best picture of the year. It is a classic. It should run, unaltered, on Network TV just as Shindler's List once did. It needs a massive audiance. And the film, from a book, I also recommend getting the book, and reading it. |
