This laid back comedy is only going to be a disappointment for those who are unwilling to accept Pierce Brosnan in any role other than that of James Bond. Those who are used to the familiar face of Ian Flemming's sophisticated secret agent are going to be shocked by a somewhat frumpy looking Brosnan, as he plays a character who is facing his own insecurities.
With Greg Kinnear added to the mix, audiences should instead be expecting a quirky comedy along the lines of "As Good As It Gets." If audiences can adjust their expectations for this movie, it is more likely they will approve of what is delivered by this film. |
