"Brosnan Puts Bond To Rest---Once And For All!"

Seeing Pierce Brosnan in "The Matador" is testament that no matter what the cost, immersing oneself in a character as 'depth-defining' as Julian Noble could clearly overshadow even the most dapper of designer suits, fancy gadgetry and automobiles, and the endless harem of beautiful women that has defined him as James Bond. Not only is Brosnan here at his finest hour, he is having a heck of a time doing it too!
I can only hope that he gets all the praise that he can muster up until Oscar time. In the meantime, I can almost forsee a sequel in the works: Julian Noble shoveling dirt in an abandoned gravesight, and putting the finishing touches on a tombstone that reads 'Here lies James Bond---May he rest in eternal peace!" |
