When you walk into a movie that you previously knew nothing about you're taking a risk. I was feeling risky and am pleased to say that the risk paid off in the form of an engaging story and characters that, despite their shortcomings, you'd like to meet.
In any of Kinnears movies that I've seen he portrays his characters with a certain humanness that is just delightful.
The light heartedness of this movie is also a plus. Assassin...lighthearted? Sure, why not. Brosnan does a beautiful job of making his character likable even though he is a hopeless, drunk among other things and an assassin.
I recommend this movie to anyone who is looking to have a good lighthearted time for a few hours. |
