Not dark enough to be a Comedy or even routinely funny, ironic, or paradoxical. There are no laughs.
Not compelling enough to be a Drama, as you find yourself hoping all characters take an entended E-Coli break. The only anticipation is enroute to the credits.
Not outlandish enough to be shocking or entertaining or interesting. Just a bunch of overly flawed characters deadpanning their abhorrent behavior, as if that alone somehow passes for dark humor. I get it. Big deal.
Decent acting, but that's like saying Captain Smith was a good pilot for the Titanic.
Not a Hollywood movie; True. But not a good movie, either. |
