For those of us who still have a dream that we thought would never be fullfilled, this film will give you a spark of hope that one day, somehow you 'could' possibly make your dream come true. I like the way that this story was told, like a low budjet nitty gritty 70's film. Here we are given the stark reality of what life is like for these people who live such pathetic lives. Lives that are without hope or dreams. Terrance Howard gives an outstanding performance as a local pimp/drug dealer, but what he is best at is hustling. |
