I had seen previews for Mulan 2 before it came out, and I wasn't very hopeful. Disney has ruined every single straight-to-video sequal they've tried, so I didn't expect any less from them with Mulan 2. I didn't even make it five minutes into the movie. I was laughing so hard at the stupidness I was crying. If you're looking for a good laugh at bad animation, stupid songs, and a bad plotline, then this is most definitely your movie. If you were looking for a good sequal to the amazing movie Mulan, you're going to have to make it up yourself (or go read some fanfiction), because this is most definitely not it. The animation of the character Mulan is different. She doesn't look the same. She looks more 'American' in this movie than in the original. To me she seemed like a different character all together. Her mother and father and grandmother didn't look the same either. I didn't want to watch to see any more characters ruined. View at your own risk. |
