I liked it, but not enough to watch it again. It's subject matter was gritty throughout, so it's not a real uplifter, but it was engaging. The one negative criticism I would have is that it seems a bit derivative of movies like Reservoir Dogs and Snatch - quirky-character-driven films with a good measure of violence and dark humor. It's pacing is slower than those films, though, and it has a lighter heart, which is nice. |
