I went to this Friday night with my mom because my dad just left for business and wasn't going to be home for three weeks! Being a senior and having little chance to be with my mom and not wanting her to be alone I decided I would hang out with her. She wanted to go see this movie and as humiliating as it was to go I was pleasantly surprised. Seeing how I am not a fan of Kutcher at all and I only have seen Amanda Peet in The Whole Nine Yards I figured it would be mediocre at best. However, by the end of this movie you will be in love with Kutcher and find Peet more likeable. I read the critics reviews of this film and to be honest I never do this, but I felt this film deserved it's justice and i'm trying to give it to you. I have yet to see the new Nicole Kidman film, which honestly would probably blow this movie away from the reviews i've read, but in all honesty this movie is worth the money to go out and see. I hate romantic comedys and I found this to be funny and very likeable. It has a mellon collie feel to it, but that makes it more bitter sweet and loveable. Go out and see this with your girlfriends guys or check it out anyways, you'll be surprised. |
