This was not that bad of a movie, Although it did have me wondering if this was a remake of the 1980`s 'When Harry Met Sally'.Amanda Peets plays Emily, A woman that just wants the right person to love. After beind dumped she meets Oliver (Ashton Kutcher). After 7 years pass they continue meeting spontainiously.
Throughtout the 7 years they act like love sick teenagers.Although you will be wondering if they are teenagers by how they act. They play little childish games on eachother, acting like love-sick babies in a daycare (like on the cartoons).Only it`s sad to see that two adults would be doing this. But when you are as strangely in love as these two are, you would most likely jump off the statue of liberty singing nusery rhymes just to let your friend know you love them.
There are times though when they feel it`s required for them to not be seeing eachother. But then later they learn that separation between eachother is like trying to separate two children fighting over a cookie.Emily and Oliver continue their childish actions (And either continue to decrease their IQ or find that being a baby is fun).
Still the whole point of this movie is that Oliver and Emily love eachother, and what they share is actually 'Alot like love'. |
