I rarely write reviews, but felt compelled after seeing this brilliant film on all levels, writing, acting, directing. This is one of those rare gems that comes along maybe once every decade. Clint Eastwood, Morgan Freeman, and Hilary Swank each play deep, compelling, heartfelt characters that will move you long after you've left the theater. The less you know about plot before seeing this movie, the better, so I will leave it at that. There was a standing ovation until the last credit came up at the theater I went to. |
