for those planning to actually see this piece of garbage, don't read on, because i'm revealing important plot points. here is a list of things that made no sense for those who saw the film to chuckle at.
1) why are the would-be assassins divulging the details of their plan over the radio waves of the united nations?
2) why did nobody scour the "safe room" for potential assassins and why is the dictator left unattended in the room?
3) why does kidman not go to jail for threating to kill somebody?
these are just same of the many things that didn't make sense in this "well-crafted, taut political thriller." (the most generic description for any movie of this genre) sean penn needs to start making comedies again. |
