I always distrust Yahoo users who tend to love big dumb and fast movies and give movies with slow and steady character development a lesser rating. This is a movie like Sideways, where intelligent and well crafted story develops slowly. Nothing blows up. There are no gross out jokes and dumb humor. Steve Martin does not appear. There are no talking dogs and/or babies who are a burden to macho men. Just a really well told story with a lot of great acting. Sorry Vin Diesel fans and rednecks, this film gets an A in my book. |
