I saw this movie at my local video store and quickly picked it up. The story on the back said that Pauly Shore had faked his death and videotaped the reactions of a number of celebrities.
I thought it was a great concept for a movie. I knew everyone hated Pauly Shore cuz he just sux like that, but fact is that I couldn't help but be curious as to just what peoples' reactions would be.
Unfortunately, I was "treated" to a long stupid story that my 5 year old cousin probably wrote, only to have it dug out of the trash by Pauly when he was walking the streets aimlessly. How he got all of this talent into the movie is beyond me, but watch yourself, and don't be deceived.
Let's just say it's the 2nd time I've fast forwarded through a movie the first time I've watched it. The sad part is that the first movie I did that to was Bio-Dome.
Yes, all the people listed on the front of the cover (and there are a number of A-list stars such as Pam Anderson, Vince Vaughn, Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, and Ben Stiller) are in the movie, even thought most are in it for a good 10 seconds tops.
But even the talent that they've crammed into this 90 minute disaster can't do much with the sludge of a script that they've been given.
There's a Sam Kinnison impersonator in the movie too, and he's just as horrible as you're probably imagining right now.
Save your time.
Save your money.
Do NOT rent or buy this movie.
You're welcome. |
