Walking into this movie I was expected a non-stop terrifying film which would blow the original out of the water. Which it does. This movie is about 100x more intense, more creepy and more jumpy then the original. I really liked. Ryan Reynolds did a terrific job in his first dramaric role, and does an excellent job at making us believe that this man is going insane. Although there are only about 2 or 3 scenes in this movie that will really scare the crap out of you, i highly recommend u see it for a good night out. Its consistently creepy, and has a very explosive and intense ending. But if you want to see a really REALLY scary movie, i think Stephen King's Rose Red is the better film for u. But if you want to see the AMityville Horror, for some cheap scares and jolts, there should be nothing stopping u. |
