When Hirsch's older brother (played by "Logger-head's" Kip Pardue) suddenly commits suicide, nothing will ever be the same for Hirsch, his elder sister (Heath Ledger's wife, in Brokeback Mountain) their zombified father (Jeff Daniel's) and pot smoking mother (Sigorney Weaver.)
This movie is a roller coaster ride of emotional messes. Where you think someone should laugh, they usually cry, and vice versa.
Hirsch, Donowho and Weaver are the real story. They break your heart, then mend it back together, again. Not new, just different. |
