I went to see this movie a few weeks ago with my mom and my sister, yet only two of us enjoyed it.
First off, let me say, that I HAVEN'T seen 'The Ice Storm', nor has my sister. Both of us enjoyed this film. My mom, who did see that film, claims that 'Imaginary Heroes' is incredably cliched.
However, to me, 'Heroes' was new. It was almost refreshing to see something quite the opposite of dysfunctional family sitcoms.
Another reason why I enjoyed this film, was the characters, who were all brilliantly protraited. Each one seemed to be like someone you know, even though you've never met someone like them.
'Imaginary Heroes' is one of the few films where I walked out of the theather feeling better than when I walked in. |
