Meet the Travis Family (Travi for plural o_O).Anyways...
Sigourney Weaver plays as Sandy Travis (The Mother).Sandy has smoking issuies, but she has a beautiful appearance.She is so pretty that a cashier asked if he could give Sandy his number.
Jeff Daniels plays as Ben Travis the father.He tries to be nice to (son).
Emile Hirsch plays as Tim Travis, the son.He is well-known for his lies.Throughout the movie all he does is make up lies to cover for his other lies.His infamous lie is saying he broke his leg in the vietnam war.
Michelle Williams plays as Penny Travis.Penny is the only person in Tim`s world that is seen to him as a friend.They both spend alot of time together as they see eachother as friends and not siblings.
Sandy and Ben decide that their lives are terrible and that they have to turn them around before they get worse.Ben is a horrible father and treats Tim like crap, while Sandy`s drug addiction is ruining her life as a mother and a wife.
Talking together with your family and with help of a family friend is a great way to solve problems.With help from their children Tim and Penny , Sandy and Ben are able to learn what their mistakes are as parents.Then through eachother(Ben & Sandy) they are able to learn how to have a better relationship.
The imaginary heroes in the movie is the entire travis family.Each of them has to face the fact that their family is horrible because they each contributed by making more mistakes.But by talking with your family you are able to realise how much everyone means to you.And learn that even familys on the borderline to falling apart can work together to keep the love that is lost.
This movie has alot of emotional conflicts.Towards the middle there is a large emotional conflict between Sandy Travis and herself.Ben abuses his son Tim in a conflict they have over him being a horrible father.And Sandy also has a very disturbing substance abuse.Also Sandy says things that may how she says she knows she is not a perfect mother , and she bashes herself and her own image.
Imaginary Heroes is about a family that is about to fall-apart,but is brought together by realising how much they all mean to eachother.
If you are able to see this movie in theaters I would strongly recommend that you do.But if not that I urge you to rent or buy it once it comes to VHS & DVD.This film is a emotional film that your family would like to see together. |
