I waited 'till the 6th week to see this film cause I don't like over crowded theaters. Still I ended up in a theater that was almost full and I know why.
The audience was falling out of their seats what amazing performances by Smith, and James. The director did an amazing job as well. In particular the trailer didn't have all the best parts and some of the funniest stuff was saved for the the end of the movie after the climax to leave everyone in stiches instead of crying.
There was one scene where james was walking Amber to to the door after their date and the thought of gatting the first kiss was tourmenting him. The facial expressions on Amber (happy that she had a good time) and James (walking down death row not having a clue where he'd muster the courage to make a move). How many regular guys would feel the same way if faced with making the first move on a supermodel???
Although James and surprisingly Amber were great Smith was the one that made this film truley great. He seriously nailed his role and his dialog throughout the film was tremendous. I'd recomend this film to everyone and especially anyone that has high hopes of meeting the woman of their dreams, falling in love, and living happily ever after. Outstanding effort. |
