This movie, hands down, is the worst movie I have ever seen in my entire life. The storyline had promise until it filtered away into mind numbing nonsense. My head is actually hurting now after just finishing the movie and I hope to forget every excrutiatingly painful second of it. Some people actually gave it good reviews(I surely hope they do not reproduce and pollute our genepool with complete retardation), only for the fact that it makes you think afterwards. Now I myself, actually like movies with twists and somewhat inconclusive endings. However, this was not the case with Birth.
There was absolutely no sense that could be made from the end of this movie and anyone that states otherwise is not right in the head.
In conclusion, the characters had NO emotion or scenes of past uncontested love that would make Kidman loving a 10 year old concievable in any way. The backround music seemed to be a 10 second loop that played over and over again throughout the entire movie and some of the camera stills, one in which it shows an emotionally unchanging Kidmans face for seemingly 5 mins straight, was completly detrimental to any enjoyment the film could possibly have. DO NOT see this movie unless you want to waste your entire night thinking about how horrible it was. |
