That's how bad this movie was. The timeless story is poorly told, and far more time is spent on giving the film "authenticity" than keeping the audience entertained. It is almost like watching a poorly directed documentary... I have never seen a movie which progressed this slowly, it was literally painful. and as said above the story is very poorly told. You feel literally no emotion for any of the characters in this movie. People left the theater just over an hour in, and every 15 minutes or so more were leaving despite having wasted 10$ on this trash which should have never reached the theater. This movie left a bad taste in my mouth... I will certainly not be going to the theaters as often if this is the sort of drivel one can expect to watch. Critics giving this movie an average B+ rating?
Well, they certainly know who writes their paychecks because if this movie gets a B+, the standards of the average professional review writer have dropped so far that they no longer have a shred of credibility. |
