Ok...everyone off your high horse and come down to reality.
This Movie SUCKS! I saw the premier in LA. on New Year's day. A week later I met one of the 5 editors on this film. The director shot more then 300 hours of film. Far more then the 80-90hrs that is normal. The studio is pissed. The editors were fired and now it has been re-edited to eliminate 20 minutes from the new release. Unheard of! If you like multiple fade to black scenes (9 or More)with 20-30 seconds of black screen, multiple stagnant shots of the sun, slow...very slow scenary panaromic shots of little to no national geographic action. Then this is right up your alley. God help you. My artistic sensibility was burnt out after 88 minutes of the same old crap. Get on with the story already. Heck, I know the story..we all do. Show me already. Half way through...This slow burn...just burns out. |
