This movie makes me want to write a screenplay.
It's so well-composed, so well-written and naturalistic that you can barely see all the craft that went into it.
If you want to get a feeling for how well written this movie is, sit down and try to write 2 pages of believable dialogue. The script in this movie is basically flawless. The writer has such a good ear for dialogue that you believe his characters completely. There isn't one wrong note. On top of that, the beautiful filming, flawless casting and wonderful, sweetly-meandering story all contribute to a great movie-going experience. Enjoy. |
