Finally a comedy with genuine laughs!

My girlfriend and I have gone to at least 15 movies that supposedly are comedies only to leave (sometimes even before the end of the flick) thoroughly dissapointed and astonished. Astonished because when you consider ALL the energy AND MONEY(!)it takes Hollywood to get a movie done it is incredible that so many are an absolute waste of time.
NOT SHAUN OF THE DEAD! I was laughing till I cried in the first parts of the flick. I haven't done that in years!
Be warned though this is a Zombie movie and there is enough blood and gore in here to satisfy the hardened zombie movie connoisseur of which, gratefully, I am not one of.
Still I love a good horror flick now and then and SHAUN definetely had its suspensful moments. Least expectantly were the two scenes that tugged at the heart. Heart warming scenes in a ZOMBIE MOVIE! Those Brits' I love 'em!
Don't worry, it's hardly a chick flick and the scenes are brief but it just goes to show what you can do with a little care...holly-(cough!)-wood!
Definetely will see this movie again and will spread the word...Late-ahhs! |
