O.K., so a very dear friend of mine gave me this book to read. I had never heard of it, but I absolutely loved it. I recommend this book to anyone. I was very excited when I saw this movie for download on Xbox Live. I had no idea it was even made into a movie! Sadly, the movie adaptation is very mediocre… if not worse than mediocre. I was very disappointed. There were so many intricacies left out. Details were changed that made the story not as meaningful, not even close. The story was very rushed...not nearly as complex as the book. I guess that is always the case though, right? READ THE BOOK! Really, I LOVED the book. The movie: not so much. Too bad they made it into a movie…really cheapened the book for me. |
