This has been a surprisingly good month for horror movies, that it is kind of scary. First, The Machinist is awsome, then the Grudge was very creepy, then there is Riding the Bullet (for all that haven't seen it, you must find a theater that is playing it), and now SAW. The cast is great, with decent acting involved. The story was interesting, with very sick and clever situations that the characters are put into. Surprisingly, I didn't find the gory to be that bad (sometimes some movies take it too far even for me); it was appropriate. While I didn't get scared all that much, most movies never even make me jump because I have seen everything before, I was creeped out the entire time. This is definitely worth a watch for horror movie fans or anyone wanting a good movie to watch this Halloween weekend. |
