My husband and I thought that "Proof" was one of the best movies we have seen in a long time. It was a joy to see Anthony Hopkins again, as he is always great. Hope Davis was excellent as well! But the real joy in the film was to see the depth of emotion that Gwyneth Paltow put into her role. She is such a versatile actress and her performance was definitely Oscar calibre. The story-line was powerful and thought-provoking.
I don't know what the critics were thinking when they reviewed this movie but I think it was a four star experience! |
