I had no idea what to expect with this movie. Pride and Prejudice is my favorite book and I love to watch the A&E version. This version had me crying I was laughing so hard. At first, I thought it was just really bad. The Mary Poppinsesque breaking into song was awful, but, then got to be so comical, I couldn't stop laughing...even when the scene ended. Neither could the other people in the theater. The Indian music and dancing was really good, and Ashanti was amazing. You would have to really appreciate Pride and Prejudice to really get the humor of this one. I do, so I loved it. |
