A Killer Within was not distributed to movie theatres as far as I know, but I was able to purchase the DVD from the movie's website. The story has a few inspired twists, but mostly makes you wait through the entire movie for the last few minutes, and its not worth the wait.
The performances by Ben Browder and Giancarlo Esposito are the only reasons to watch this movie. Browder does an excellent job with the limited time he is given with his character to make the audience care about something happening on the screen. His delicate treatment of the onscreen breakdown of his character is touching without being overwrought. It is unfortunate the director had no clue how to handle the ultimate scene in the movie and seemling ran out of money to provide reasonable sound. |
