Thank you Laird Hamilton, and all the others involved.
I am not a surfer. I get bored in 5 minutes watching any sport. Watching Laird surf the ocean waves is one of the most inspiring things I have ever seen. There is something that takes us beyond the surface of the universe to its deeper truths by seeing Laird paint a line on a huge wave. And the one in Tahiti is like a masterpiece, as great as any of the great artists' work (I am an artist of many decades).
I respect Pele, Bjorn Borg, Michael Jordan, Muhammed Ali, and many more great athletes, but something Laird did goes beyond all of them. It is him and the ocean.
I can't express how this has effected me in a positive way. It is inspiring, and I want to thank Laird Hamilton for this great vision he has given us.(even for us non-surfers).
May the God and the Ocean always be good to you and yours Laird ! |
