I want to keep this short but show my appreciation of this film and also to discredit those who deem it necessary to give it a bad grade.
I was skeptical at first because I am happily oversaturated with political films against corporations, WTO, IMF, the Two-Party agenda, the Fundamentalist Christian agenda etc etc.
This film boasts great commentary by such innovative, forth-thinking visionaries such as Howard Zinn and Noam Chomsky as well as Michael Moore. The film comments on the political and environment's current climate with an expansive breadth.
Recently I have gone into the theatre skeptical and blown away by such movies as The Fourth World War and The Revolution Won't Be Televised; this film definitely speaks in the same inspiring tone.
I know there are many of those out there who have struggled with these issues, and have fought them face to face, seen the destructive, oppressive power of our media and the policia brigands who protect them, maybe even brutalized or arrested like I---- this film is just another to immortalize our collective efforts and know that the war for the people is just beginning and more people will be joining our cause for good. I take a little away because but is a little repetitive, but it DOES include both sides, why it does is only for you ignorant fellow Americans who know nothing about this topic. |
