The film opens with a bang with the initial heist but then focuses more on the characters and their chemistry than on the actual payoff of the end heist which isn't as detailed as it could have been. It's more about the journey than the destination. And the journey is great fun.
Brosnan and Hayek have a playful smoldering chemistry, and light up the screen as movie stars should but rarely do. Brosnan and Harrelson are also vastly amusing together as the Road Runner and Wyle E. Coyote of the piece. And it's all done in high style in lush gorgeous locations beautifully photographed, that left a smile on my face. |
