Is it necessary for every retired Bond star to play this role? I thought this movie felt an awful lot like Sean Connery's in Entrapment with Salma and Zeta-Jones exchanging roles and gorgeous accomplices. Add this to the Thomas Crowne Affair and I think Pierce Brosnan may end up pigeon-holing himself.
The story line was fairly weak here. FBI agent and world renowned gem thief fishing and literally shacking up at one point was way over the top.
Some of the outdoor shots were very nicely done and the water looked amazing. Not used to Salma playing to her sex appeal like she did here. |
