The critics gave Aeon Flux a D+, yet, re-hash like The Dukes of Hazard stands with a C ?!?
This movie was a total escape from the lame comedies and weak re-makes that are bombarding the theaters lately in the most fulfilling variation.
All of the concepts, the overall sleek & very-well stylized settings, Aeon Flux was a true sci-fi movie-going experience.
It also had the right formula & pacing that most recent action flicks are lacking (and I'm looking at you Kill Bill Vol. 2...).
The subtle convictions Charlize Theron was able to portray kept me intrigued and further kept my interest throughout the entire movie. A great actress in any element.
Critics, lose the top-hat and leave the monocle, turn down your stuffy-meter and enjoy the show. |
