I am not a big fan of Dude, wheres my car. It was a decent flick not one to see repeatedly.
Expecting the same in this movie i went and saw it, boy was i wrong. It was the funniest movie in years(even funnier than Undercover Brotha).
ok, its no Lord of the Rings : Return of the King.
you wont leave the theater stunned, wide-eyed, and head spining. but youll be laughing a lot.
This movie is meant for the younger generation 15-25 the majority of the movie going public.I thought it deserved to be doing better than it has (13 million in 11 days) maybe because of the lack of marketing or the limited number of locations it is playing at or the wrong time to open( i robot, spidey 2, village, manchurian candidate, catwoman,& bourne supremacy all had lot bigger budget)
p/s: contrary to popular believe this movie costs 29 mil.(9 for production costs and 20 for marketting) |
